The Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology, commonly referred to as “The Foundation”, is Partner in Association Management’s only non-profit 501(c)(3) managed organization. Celebrating its 10 year anniversary, the Foundation was incorporated in December 2008 with the help of its sister organizations – the National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL) and the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NBC). The National Extension Association of Family & Consumer Sciences (NEAFCS) joined Partners in Association Management in January of 2017. On June 29, 1933, the association became a reality under the name, The National Home Demonstration Agents’ Association. After a handful of name changes, and as a result of the evolution of the profession, the Association changed its name one final time in 1995, to The National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. The Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors (EBPHI), a 501(c)(6) not for profit organization, is one of Partners’ newer clients, joining us in September, 2016. EBPHI will always be extra special to me as they were the first organization I would serve in the role as Executive Director.
EBPHI is not a traditional association. They are governed by a 13-member volunteer board of directors, they have no membership, and they do not hold conferences or offer continuing education.
