Turning Lemons into Pink Lemonade

001Cancer.  We are made aware of it all the time in our personal lives, in the news, and on the web. I have to admit cancer is a scary word, but what does it technically mean?  Merriam-Webster dictionary defines cancer as “a serious disease caused by cells that are not normal and that can spread to one or many parts of the body”. How are we supposed to take this technical definition and transform it into reality, mold it into our daily lives, and morph into something we can all understand and cope with? The technical definition is a good place to start when with approaching the subject of cancer, but is it what will help win the battle?
