While the actual stories have changed from the time we were children, the idea of storytelling hasn’t. We tell stories to make sense of the changing world around us and to remind the listener of shared values (or values you want to instill upon them). You can use these same storytelling skills when determining a branding plan for your professional image. This week, many of our staff will be traveling to Las Vegas to work an annual trade and management conference for a national client.
For the past 10 years, Las Vegas has utilized a number of variations of the marketing phrase “What Happens Here Stays Here” including the most popular “What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas.” This usage of this marketing iconic phrase has made people laugh but has also resulted in increased tourism rates. In 2015, Las Vegas is expected to welcome more than 40 million visitors, a record high for the destination (visit www.lvcva.com for more statistics and information.)

Contracts can be a scary task if you are not familiar with the different clauses and terminology used today. Since I was a kid, I remember being dressed in Florida State University outfits/colors and would even ask for new FSU stuff for holidays and birthdays. Even though I grew up seven hours south of Tallahassee, the Seminoles were always my favorite team.
Fast forward to 2003 and my freshman year at college. I went to every single home game… but it wasn’t always about the football. Yes, I loved the exciting plays and yelling about bad calls.
